Today as Mason was emptying the dishwasher he was cheerfully humming to himself and working without complaint. As I wandered in to pour myself another cup of tea he was standing at the silverware drawer having just emptied the basket. I noticed a pile of clean spoons on the counter.
"Hey, Grammy?"
"Hmmm?" I answered.
"Do you like my art?"
"I do! You've arranged them just so."
"Can you take a picture of it?"
I went and grabbed my phone to take a picture to humor him.
"Hey, Grammy?"
"Yes?" I answered.
"Will you put that picture on your blog?"
"Sure, I can do that."
"Will you keep your blog forever? If you do then when you die I can take it over."
"Ok, Mase, when I die you can take over my blog."
I have very strict instructions that when I die I am to wait on the steps of heaven for Mason to join me when he is old and dies. No matter how long it takes I have to be there waiting for him.
I promised I would.
Will there be art in heaven?
~K!
most definitely, and all the art will sing glorious praises to our awesome Creator

Mason, I wish I were not older than your Grammy, because I shall probably die before she does and that means that I would not be able to read your blog. Perhaps, you can start your own blog before Grammy dies. Maybe she would let you write on her blog once a month while you are still growing up. I would like that.
Love, Grandma B.

He will inherit your blog. He will inherit my Mustang. If I can get it finished before I die. I wonder if there are muscle cars in heaven?
