Pretty maids all in a row

I planted 'flowers' today.

 

Please pretend like those weeds aren't there. I got excited about the project and 'planted' the 'flowers' without first doing the hard part. 

I saw this done once upon a time and thought that it was a great idea to brighten up a spot while waiting for the real thing to come in. So I went to the dollar store and found a ready supply. We get a good East wind here in the Spring so my 'flowers' are dancing.

I will go out this week and remove all those weeds. But in the meantime I am enjoying the show.
